Ignite & Shine Gala

Ignite stands with youth on their journey to a home and future with promise. We envision a world where all young people have the support they need to be defined by their potential, not their circumstances. Ignite provides housing, supportive services, and a caring community of adults to over 590 youth experiencing homelessness or housing instability in Chicago each year.

The Ignite & Shine Gala brings together our community of supporters, advocates, clients, and staff to celebrate the young people we serve and expand the reach of our mission. It is a night to remember, filled with incredible stories, music, dining, and - most important - the opportunity to invest in a more equitable Chicago.

This year, we are honored to award BMO Bank with our Ignite The Way Award for their consistent dedication and support of Ignite's mission. And Lindsay Mullen, who serves on Ignite's Board of Directors, will receive the Tom O'Reilly Impact Award for her years of unwavering commitment. These important trailblazers are both true leaders and champions in Ignite's cause, and they show us that together, we can end youth homelessness.
